International Guarantee Instructions

Your traser® watch is guaranteed by mb-microtec Ltd. for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of purchase in accordance with the terms and conditions of this warranty. The traser® International Warranty covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery of the purchased watch ("defects").

The guarantee is only valid if the guarantee certificate is dated (date of purchase), completed correctly and in full and stamped by an authorized traser® distributor ("valid guarantee certificate").

Rights during the guarantee period:

Based on a valid certificate:

  • Free repair of any defects covered under warranty.

  • If the repair does not restore the product to normal use, mb-microtec Ltd. guarantees replacement with a traser® watch with identical or similar characteristics.

  • The warranty for the replaced watch expires 24 months from the date of purchase.

Not covered by warranty:

  • Battery life.

  • Normal wear and ageing (e.g. scratches on glass; discoloration or damage to non-metallic straps: leather, textile, rubber; peeling of coatings).

  • Damage resulting from abnormal/abusive use, negligence, accidents (knocks, bumps, shocks, crushing, broken glass), misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use.

  • Indirect damages or consequences (e.g. malfunctions, defects or inaccuracies).

  • Interventions by unauthorized persons or modifications to the product beyond the control of mb-microtec Ltd. or an official traser® distributor.

Guarantee does not limit the legal rights of the consumer and is independent of any other warranty given by the seller.

Maintenance and servicing

Battery replacement

We recommend replacement only at an authorized traser® service center to prevent leaks that can damage the mechanism.

Trigalight® lighting

Works no external light or energy sources, with a lifespan of at least 12 years. The intensity may gradually decrease over time. traser® watches meet international standards ISO 9978 and ANSI/HPS N43.4-2005, having been approved by Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (A-211764-59).

Precautions and preventive measures

  • Temperature: Avoid sudden variations (e.g. sun + cold water) and extremes above 60°C or below 0°C.

  • Magnetic fields: avoid near speakers, telephones, refrigerators, etc.

  • Shocks: avoid repeated knocks and rubbing; in case of severe impact, go to an authorized service.

  • Chemicals: avoid contact with solvents, detergents, perfumes, cosmetics.

  • Care: clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft cloth. If worn in salt water, rinse with lukewarm fresh water and dry completely.

Water resistance

The tests are carried out under laboratory conditions, but actual use (movement, temperature, pressure) can affect protection.

  • Water resistance is not permanently guaranteed.

  • We recommend checking for tightness annual, in an authorized center.

  • Do not operate the buttons/screw in the watch unless the crown is screwed down firmly.

All traser® watches are water resistant minimum 3 atm/bar (30m/100ft).

Rear trim®

  • Galvanic plating: applied by electrolysis (gold, silver, copper, etc.).

  • PVD coating: thin, hard, corrosion-resistant coating available in several colors.

  • Titan: harder and lighter than steel, biocompatible, sweat and salt water resistant.

  • Sapphire glass: made of aluminum oxide, virtually impossible to scratch (diamond only).

  • K1 mineral glass: heat treated, more scratch-resistant than ordinary glass.

  • Bronze: surface oxidation, protects the metal underneath; can be cleaned (instructions available on Dropbox).

  • Leather: resistant, but diving is not recommended in the water.

  • Silicon: resistant to extreme temperatures, UV and microbial growth.

  • Rubber: natural, highly elastic and watertight.

  • 316L stainless steel: chosen for its excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
